Every month Parafed Manawatu holds a monthly activity for our youth members.

This ranges from sporting activities or programmes to adventure activities such as blokarting. These events give our youth members a unique opportunity to try new activities, make new friends and engage with local clubs and sporting organisations.

Goalball is a dynamic and inclusive team sport designed specifically for individuals with visual impairments.
Relying on your keen sense of hearing and spatial awareness, players strategically block, throw, and defend against the ball, creating an intense and thrilling experience. Goalball not only promotes physical fitness but also fosters teamwork, communication, and a deep sense of inclusivity within the visually impaired community.

Wheelchair Rugby:

Played on a regulation-sized basketball court, Wheelchair Rugby provides a space for you to let your mid week emotions out.  The fast-paced and hard-hitting nature of wheelchair rugby makes it a thrilling spectacle, emphasising strategy, skill, and teamwork.

Every Wednesday from 5 pm to 6 pm at the Massey Recreation Centre, we invite you to join our "Give it a Go" sessions. Choose from a variety of activities, including table tennis, rowing machines, and Boccia. Everyone, regardless of age or ability, is welcome to participate and give it a try!
