Parafed Manawatu was established with the primary goal of facilitating sport and recreation opportunities for individuals with physical or vision impairments. In collaboration with various organisations, we strive to establish clear pathways for participation in sports, leading to engagement in regional and national programs. Our mission is centered around delivering high-quality programs, organising events, providing funding support, and offering advocacy, guidance, and expertise to empower disabled individuals to participate in sports, play and active recreation in the Manawatu region.

We welcome individuals of any age whose primary impairment is physical or vision-related. Our commitment extends throughout the Manawatu region, encompassing areas such as Horowhenua, Tararua, and Rangitikei. Whether it's information dissemination, advocacy, advice, or general support regarding disability sports, opportunities, and funding, we are dedicated to being accessible and responsive. We are ready to bring our services directly to you, ensuring that everyone has the necessary resources and encouragement to engage in a fulfilling and active lifestyle.
